SEC Thailand and UK sign MoU to promote inclusive economic growth in the Financial Services sector

Ms. Ruenvadee Suwanmongkol, SEC Secretary General (right) and H.E. Brian Davidson, the British Ambassador to Thailand (left) sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote inclusive economic growth in the Financial Services sector. The MoU strengthens the existing relationship between the UK and the SEC, formalizing collaboration in areas including accounting standards; the development of Financial Technology (FinTech) to facilitate greater access to finance and business opportunity for Thai FinTech industry; and sustainable finance. The SEC executives attend the signing ceremony led by Mrs. Sirivipa Supantanet, Deputy Secretary-General; Mrs. Praoporn Senanarong, Assistant Secretary-General; Ms. Jomkwan Kongsakul, Assistant Secretary-General and Ms. Julawadee Worasakyothin, Director of Strategy and International Affairs Department. The signing ceremony was held on 1 September 2020, Bangkok.
