On behalf of SEC Thailand, Secretary-General Pornanong Budsaratragoon, together with Assistant Secretary-General Sittasri Nakasiri, attended the 43rd ACMF Chairs Meeting and related sessions. The meeting endorsed the ACMF Action Plan 2026–2030, a new five-year action plan building on the achievements of its predecessor (2021–2025), to which SEC Thailand has continuously contributed throughout the year.
Additionally, as Chair of the Working Group on Collective Investment Schemes and Digital Asset Supervision, SEC Thailand presented progress on cross-border investment management projects among ASEAN countries to facilitate and enhance the attractiveness of cross-border fund sales under ASEAN Collective Investment Schemes (CIS). SEC Thailand also shared updates on developments and policies on digital asset supervision among member countries under the topic “Regulatory Standard and Measures for Licensed Digital Asset Business Operators in Preventing Mule Accounts.”
At the ACMF International Conference 2025, held on 6 November 2025, several key reports were announced showcasing ACMF’s achievements, including (1) The new ACMF Action Plan 2026–2030, (2) ASEAN Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance Version 4, (3) Mitigation, Adaptation, Resilience and Sustainable Finance (mARs) Guide, (4) ACMF Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) Development Plan & Guidance Roadmap, and (5) ASEAN Simplified ESG Disclosure Guide.
Furthermore, during the event on 6 November 2025, the winners of the ASEAN Investment Challenge 2025 were announced. The SEC congratulated the team from Mahidol University International College’s Finance program for winning third place – demonstrating Thai youth’s potential on the regional capital market stage.
