Information Disclosure

Information disclosure of listed companies helps shareholders and investors to understand company’s business objectives, policy, performance, strategy, social and environmental responsibility activities. Adequate disclosure is also a tool to protect investors’ rights. Listed companies should disclose complete, clear and accurate information within a specified period in accordance with good corporate governance principles. Required disclosure includes annual report, report on changes in securities holding of the board and executives, anti-corruption policy, CSR policy, and other information as required by other relevant entities. (56-1 and 69-1 Disclosure Handbook is available in Thai only).
Disclosure of incomplete, unclear or fabricated information not only violates the law, but may also damage business, capital market and the economy at large. On the contrary, disclosure of transparent information with proper audit can be a useful tool to prevent frauds and corruption.
