Thursday 11 June 2026 | No. 121 / 2026

Bangkok, 11 June 2026 – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Bank of Thailand (BOT), and the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) co-organized a networking activity for participants of Responsible Voices Classes 1, 2, and 3 at the “1st Responsible Voices Connect” event. The event provided an opportunity for project participants to exchange information on finance, investment, and insurance with executives of the three regulatory agencies, and served as a forum for networking between the public sector agencies and project participants as well as among the project participants themselves. The event was held at the SEC Office on 10 June 2026.

The Responsible Voices for Finfluencers project is a collaboration among the three regulatory agencies. It aims to promote knowledge and understanding among information providers in the finance, investment, and insurance sectors to enable them to disseminate information to their followers appropriately, with a view to enhancing their role as responsible information providers who present information responsibly and take into account potential impacts on their followers and society. The project also seeks to raise awareness among business operators that communicate through information providers, which will benefit society and the public as a whole.

Mrs. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, SEC Secretary-General, said: “After each class of the Responsible Voices project was completed, the regulatory agencies have continued to receive strong cooperation from participants across all three classes, who collectively have 34.5 million followers. We greatly appreciate that the project participants have paid attention to and placed importance on providing information responsibly, have applied the information-provision guidelines in practice, and have supported the provision of accurate information and fostered cooperation among one another. This has contributed to greater mutual understanding of the roles of the agencies and the information providers and enabled more effective collaboration, generating benefits for society at large. This Responsible Voices Connect event therefore continues to strengthen these relationships and underscores the commitment to promoting responsible communication of financial and investment information. From the perspective of the regulatory agencies, we expect that such communication will contribute to enhancing knowledge and understanding of finance, investment, and insurance among the public as a whole.”

In this regard, the three regulatory agencies expect that participants who completed their respective classes will continue to serve as responsible information communicators and help build accurate financial understanding. The voices of project participants will contribute to enabling the public to gain knowledge and make appropriate financial decisions, which will be an important part of further enhancing financial, investment, and insurance literacy for Thai society. Participants who meet the specified criteria will also receive certificates after completing the project.
