Bangkok, 27 September 2026 – Mrs. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), said that the SEC has been closely monitoring the flood situation and coordinating with the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and relevant parties, including digital asset business operators. The SEC has also been informed that on Monday, 28 September 2026, trading systems and related operational systems will continue to operate as normal under flexible management arrangements responsive to the situation, with emphasis on investor protection and the safety of employees and relevant personnel.

“The SEC places importance on the continued provision of services by business operators to investors and the public in connection with securities trading in the capital market, digital asset trading, and other related services. The SEC will continue to coordinate and cooperate with relevant parties to support continued operations in a manner responsive to the situation,” the SEC Secretary-General said.

The SEC advises investors to follow news and information through the official channels of the SEC, the SET, and the business operators in the capital and digital asset markets whose services they use.
