In 2026, the SEC and various sectors of the Thai capital market jointly developed and expanded learning channels through a wide range of activities and educational materials, including training programs, seminars, online activities, and digital content production, to enable the public to access financial and investment knowledge more conveniently. Collectively, these activities generated a total reach of more than 790 million* among the public under the “Public Empowerment through Capital Market Knowledge Initiative Phase 2 (2026).” As one of the key measures under the MOF’s Financial Literacy Development Action Plan 2022–2027, the initiative reflects the role of the capital market sector in supporting the development of financial and investment resilience and promoting prudent financial decision-making among the public.
Mrs. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, Secretary-General of the SEC, said: “The success of this year’s initiative has been driven by the collaboration and commitment of all participating sectors in continuously delivering financial and investment knowledge to the public through approaches and communication formats tailored to diverse target groups. These efforts have expanded learning opportunities and supported the public in applying such knowledge to financial planning and investment decision-making in an appropriate manner. The SEC would like to congratulate all individuals and organizations receiving awards this year and sincerely hopes to continue receiving support and cooperation from all sectors in advancing this important mission together.”
