SEC launches “IPO Fact Figure” web page, a statistical information hub of IPO shares, to support investors’ decision making

Bangkok, 26 December 2023 The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has arranged for an information hub “IPO Fact Figure” to make available statistical information in relation to IPO (Initial Public Offering) shares for investors’ convenient comparison and use in their investment decision making.

The SEC has developed the web page “IPO Fact Figure” on the SEC website, which can be viewed at www.sec.or.th/IPOFactFigure, and has it officially launched on 25 December to facilitate investor access to the comparable, statistical information for their investment decision making.

The web page “IPO Fact Figure” is especially designed to serve investor needs for IPO share statistical information, consisting of the following:

1. Statistical information of IPO shares, e.g., the first trading day, financial advisor (FA), underwriter (UW), comparison of IPO prices and its aftermarket prices in different periods etc.

2. Price movements graphs, e.g., share prices during one year after IPO compared with IPO prices, graphs showing relative returns compared to sector’s benchmarks and to SET index or MAI index etc.

3. Table summarizing financial status and performance of IPO shares, before and after getting listed on the Exchange.
