SEC announces special holidays for securities companies and derivatives business operators

Bangkok, 2 December 2024 – This is in reference to the Cabinet's resolution on 12 November 2024, approving special official holidays to boost tourism and the overall economy while supporting the government’s designation of 2025 as Thailand's Year of Tourism and Sports.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has considered it appropriate to designate 2 June and 11 August 2025 as well as 2 January 2026 as additional special holidays for securities companies and derivatives business operators to support the government’s policy above and align with the holiday schedule established for financial institutions and specialized financial institutions.
