SEC extends deadline for SAM’s special audit report submission to 9 July 2025

Friday 25 April 2025 | No. 104 / 2025

Bangkok, 25 April 2025 – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has granted a deadline extension for Samchai Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SAM) to submit a special audit report by 9 July 2025, as requested by the company. SAM must also disclose the special audit report through the Electronic Listed Company Information Transmission System of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SETLink).

Earlier, the SEC instructed SAM to submit the special audit report by 26 April 2025,* which was an extended deadline as requested by SAM. The company later requested another deadline extension to 9 July 2025 to ensure thorough audit process before submitting the report. Nevertheless, the SEC instructs SAM to expedite the audit reporting process in accordance with the specified timeframe. Otherwise, the SEC will not consider granting any more extension and will proceed with appropriate actions as deemed necessary.

The SEC has therefore instructed SAM to submit the special audit report by 9 July 2025, as requested, and concurrently disclose the report through SETLink.
