SEC declines to grant an additional deadline extension for MVP’s special audit report submission

Monday 30 March 2026 | No. 66 / 2026

Bangkok, 30 March 2026 – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has declined to grant an additional extension of the deadline for the submission of the special audit report by M Vision Public Company Limited (MVP) and instructed the company to expedite the process and disclose the information to the public through the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET)’s Electronic Listed Company Information Transmission System (SETLink).

Previously, the SEC instructed MVP to conduct a special audit in relation to certain transactions that raised concerns based on the auditor’s observations, the review of financial statement information, MVP’s clarification regarding its financial statements to the SET, and information obtained by the SEC. MVP was initially required to submit the special audit report by 23 January 2026*, and the SEC subsequently extended the submission deadline to March 31, 2026**.

In this regard, MVP submitted a written request for a further extension of the deadline for the submission of the special audit report to 29 May 2026. However, as the company has not been able to demonstrate any progress in the conduct of the special audit and has not yet appointed an auditor to perform the special audit, the SEC has considered the matter and decided not to grant any further extension of the deadline for the submission of the special audit report. The SEC has also instructed MVP to expedite the submission of the special audit report and disclose the information through the SETLink without delay.
