As
previously reported, seven Reports on Acquisition or Disposition of Securities
(Form 246-2), covering six securities, were recorded in the Form 246-2
reporting system on 30 June 2026 and 2 July 2026. The name appearing as the person who entered the information into
the system was Miss Supaporn Pimphong. The SEC identified inaccuracies in the
reported information and subsequently conducted an examination and verification
with the relevant listed companies. As a result, those reports were removed
from the Form 246-2 reporting system. Meanwhile, the SEC has continued to coordinate
with the ECD to expedite the law enforcement process. On 10 July 2026, the SEC
and the ECD invited the reporting person for an interview and received full
cooperation. The SEC will proceed with the matter in accordance with the
applicable procedures.
Mrs.
Pornanong Budsaratragoon, Secretary-General of the SEC,
said: “This is a matter of importance to the SEC. We have received strong
support from the ECD in expediting the law enforcement process, which has led
to the reporting person being interviewed. As the matter remains under the law
enforcement process, further details cannot be disclosed at this time. Should
there be any further developments, the SEC will keep the public informed
accordingly.
The
SEC places importance on information disclosed for investment decision-making
purposes. In this regard, the SEC has procedures in place to identify the
status of information and remove information from the system when inaccuracies
are found. These measures reflect the importance of ensuring appropriate public
disclosure of information.”
Pol.
Col. Winyu Jamsai, Superintendent of Sub-Division 3 of the ECD,
said: “The ECD and the SEC have jointly interviewed the individual concerned
and received full cooperation in providing information. The ECD stands ready to
continue supporting and working closely with the SEC to ensure that the law
enforcement process is carried out in a timely and effective manner.”
