SEC appoints assistant secretary-general, effective 1 January 2027

Bangkok, 14 September 2026 – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced the appointment of Mr. Apisit Suksakorn as Assistant Secretary-General (Digital Technology), with responsibility for overseeing the Information Technology Audit and Cyber Risk Supervision Department, the Data Management and Analytics Department, and the Information Technology Department. The appointment will take effect on 1 January 2027.

Mr. Apisit holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), which he attended as an SEC scholarship recipient. Prior to this appointment, he served as Director of the Information Technology Department and subsequently as Director of the Data Management and Analytics Department.
