Bangkok, May 29, 2014 ? The SEC invites public to visit SEC booth at Money Expo Bangkok 2014, presented under the theme ?The successful world at your backyard?. It aims to urge the public to realize the importance of saving and investment and start planning their own investment.

SEC Secretary-General Vorapol Socatiyanurak invites the public to visit the SEC booth at Money Expo 2014. Presented under the theme ?The successful world at your backyard?, the SEC booth aims to promote that saving and investment are not as something distant but relevant to everyday life. As such, everyone should start to save and invest earnestly in order to meet life goals and have comfortable and secure retirement. The SEC always takes an active role to promote financial literacy for people from all walks of life through a variety of channels including booth exhibition.

Visitors will experience basic financial planning knowledge - ?Three bags of Money Tips? saving techniques, suitability test and saving for retirement. Also, the SEC roles and access to the SEC will be presented, particularly awareness initiatives to promote saving and investment for everyone as well as fund raising for all levels of businesses across the country. Moreover, an animation cartoon ?Malaeng-Mao? and edutainment activities await all visitors at our booth.

The SEC welcomes you all to the financial world at our booth at Money Expo Bangkok 2014. The booth is located at booth M3, Challenger 2-3, IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani and opened during May 8-11 from 10.00-20.00 hrs. 

Meanwhile, "Pay @ modern trade - chase your first million" seminar will be held at Jupiter 4 Room on Friday, May 9, 2014, 11.00-12.30 hrs. Executives of capital market regulators and industries to share with you their investment experience, tips to meet life goals and investment suitable for demands and lifestyles, include Duangmon Chuengsatiansup, SEC Assistant Secretary-General, Voravan Tarapoom, Chairperson
of Association of Investment Management Companies and Chief Executive Officer of BBL Asset Management Co.,Ltd., Win Udomrachtavanich, Chief of Executive Officer of One Asset Management Co., Ltd., and Kris Chantanotoke, Executive Vice President of Bank of Ayudhya Plc.
