SEC promotes ?Be Smart, Ask First? at SET in the City 2014

Bangkok, November 18, 2014 ? SEC Secretary-General Vorapol Socatiyanurak promoted public awareness-raising about investment in the capital market for wealth accumulation and economic well-being. This year, everyone is welcome to visit the SEC booth presented under the theme ?Be Smart, Ask First? at SET in the City 2014.

At the SEC booth, visitors will learn to ask the right questions to gain more knowledge and understanding in capital market products and services before making investment decision. Those questions include ?What are the risks and rewards of the investment??; ?What kinds of investors are suit for the investment??, ?How should the investor be prepared before investment??; and ?What are the investment options available??, for instance. Also, our guests will receive ?Ask First Kit?, a how-to manual helping them ask necessary questions about investment products and making investment decision with more confidence. Moreover, they can try ?Financial Goal Calculator? to test whether their financial goals can be achieved. For the beginners, they will learn more about ?A thousand baht, Start a journey to your dream?, a project aims to boost saving and investment discipline through investment in mutual funds at a minimum of 1,000 baht a month.
