Friday 10 July 2015 | No. 89 / 2015

Bangkok, July 10, 2015 ? The SEC and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) agreed to provide the information concerning abnormal securities trading in one place. Accordingly, the SEC?s last Turnover List calculation date is July 10, 2015. The SEC and the SET have cooperated closely in monitoring securities traded with high turnover ratio where the SET functions as a front-line regulator to prevent abnormal securities trading. In so doing, both organizations have prepared and disseminated information for monitoring of securities trading in that the SEC has disclosed Turnover List while the SET has announced a list of securities subject to Cash Balance Rule, respectively. With a view to facilitating all stakeholders, the SEC and the SET agreed to provide the information for monitoring purpose in one place. Consequently, the SEC will cease the calculation and disclosure of Turnover List on the SEC website. The last calculation date is July 10, 2015. The SEC has cooperated with the SET on a continuous basis and viewed that preventive measures implemented by the SET to cope with high turnover securities trading are appropriate and responsive to current environment. Therefore, additional measure is not required at this stage.
