Bangkok, April 29, 2016 ? The SEC is seeking public comments on draft rules concerning guidelines for post-offering disclosure of information to be imposed specifically on property funds, infrastructure funds, infrastructure trusts and real estate investment trusts (REIT).

The proposed rules would require regular disclosure of the annual registration statement, annual report, financial statements as well as significant events after offering for sale of the aforesaid financial instruments, and would prescribe organization of annual meetings in a similar way as required of listed companies.

This is to ensure that investors would be informed of up-to-date, complete and sufficient information for investment decision-making in line with the globally recognized standards of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).??
