SEC and BSA co-host a cybersecurity risks seminar for listed companies

Bangkok, 25 May 2017 ? The SEC and the Business Software Alliance (BSA) will jointly organize a seminar on ?Boards? Roles in Mitigating Cyber Security Risks/Threats: Challenges and Solutions? this month.?

The SEC, BSA and technology experts from the private sector will jointly organize the seminar for directors, executives and employees of listed companies to create awareness of the ever-increasing cyber risks and internal control systems to prevent and manage risks that may cause widespread damage to business operation and impact on shareholders, stakeholders and the overall capital market. The morning session features knowledge sharing by globally recognized experts on cyber threats, risks and impacts on organizations. The afternoon session features panel discussion among representatives from public and private sectors including leading IT consulting firms and legal firms.
