Finance Minister appoints expert members to SEC Board and CMSB

Bangkok, 18 May 2022 – Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Minister of Finance, has appointed Mr. Pornchai Chunhachinda as an Accounting Expert Member to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC Board), and Ms. Jantima Phienveja as an Expert Member to the Capital Market Supervisory Board (CMSB). Both appointments have become effective since 6 May 2022.

Mr. Pornchai Chunhachinda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Honor) from Chulalongkorn University, an M.B.A. from Thammasat University, a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Finance from Florida International University, USA. Currently, he is a member of the Financial Institution Policy Committee, the Bank of Thailand, and an independent director and member of the Audit Committees of listed companies on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).

Ms. Jantima Phienveja holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Laws (LLM) from Thammasat University and a Barrister at Law of the Thai Bar Association under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King. Currently, she is a member of the SEC Takeover Panel (Legal Expert) and an executive at a legal consulting firm.
