The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in collaboration with the Information System Audit and Control Association – Bangkok Chapter (ISACA Bangkok Chapter), the Thailand Information Security Association (TISA), and the Institute of Internal Auditors, Thailand (IIAT), co-organized a panel discussion on cybersecurity for risk management and IT audit personnel of business operators in the capital market. The event themed “GRE-2AT Clinic Forum for Capital Market 2025” aimed to promote the development of effective risk management systems, raise awareness of the importance of IT governance aligned with international standards, enhance personnel skills to keep pace with technological advancements, and support the integration of cybersecurity into business processes. Additionally, the panel discussion facilitated the exchange of best practices among industry practitioners.
Under this initiative, a panel discussion was held on the topic “Second Line Armed: Strengthening Defenses to Tackle Modern Cyber Threats,” along with a lecture titled “GRE-2AT Clinic: Integrating Cybersecurity, AI, and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM),” delivered by distinguished speakers from the three associations. The event was attended by 460 participants from 160 organizations, including securities companies, asset management companies, mutual fund brokerage firms, investment advisory firms, derivatives business operators, digital asset business operators, crowdfunding platform providers, ICO portals, and the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The event took place on 27 May 2025 at the SEC Building and was also streamed online.
