The Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand (SEC), hosted the 2025 ASEAN Audit Regulators Group (AARG) and Financial Statements Surveillance Group (FSSG) Workshops during 25 - 27 August 2025 at the SEC Office in Bangkok. The workshops provided a platform for regulators across ASEAN to exchange knowledge, experiences, and challenges on audit quality oversight and financial reporting reviews, while fostering stronger international cooperation networks. The event welcomed over 150 participants, comprising both on-site and virtual participants, from AARG and FSSG member countries - namely Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand - as well as representatives from regulatory bodies from other countries, including delegates from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, Japan, India and Lao PDR.
