The Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand (SEC), organized a study visit for the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC Malaysia), led by Dato’ Mohammad Faiz Azmi, Chairman, along with senior executives. The visit aimed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences regarding the oversight of digital assets in Thailand and Malaysia. This initiative is part of the collaboration under the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF), which seeks to promote capital market development and the sharing of regulatory expertise within the region. The study visit is expected to benefit the supervisory approaches of both countries and further strengthen cooperation and good relations between the capital market regulatory agencies of Thailand and Malaysia. The event took place on 25-26 August 2025, at the SEC Office, Bangkok.
