SEC organizes Responsible Investment Training to encourage asset management companies to integrate sustainability factors into investment processes

06 February 2026

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) organized the Responsible Investment Training (RI Training) program to strengthen the role of asset management companies (AMCs) as stewards of capital and to enhance their readiness to systematically integrate sustainability (ESG) factors into investment processes. The program was conducted in collaboration with the PRI Academy to provide knowledge and best practices on responsible investment, supporting the investment management industry’s role in driving sustainable growth of Thai businesses in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and Thailand’s Net Zero target by 2050, as outlined in the country’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) (No. 2) or NDC 3.0.

Miss Jomkwan Kongsakul, SEC Deputy Secretary-General, delivered the opening remarks, and more than 50 fund managers participated in the training, which was held on 5–6 February 2026 at the Stock Exchange of Thailand Building.
