SEC participates in the panel discussion on “Three Lines & One Control: The Role of Directors and Executives in Enhancing Corporate Governance”

Mr. Paiboon Dumrongwaree, Assistant Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) participated in the panel discussion titled “Three Lines & One Control: The Role of Directors and Executives in Enhancing Corporate Governance.” The event was jointly organized by the Federation of Accounting Professions under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King (TFAC), the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), and the SEC.

The discussion underscored the importance of integrating the roles of directors and executives, as well as strengthening the function of internal auditors, in line with the SEC’s strategic plan to enhance the effectiveness of internal audit functions and internal control systems. These efforts aim to elevate the corporate governance standards of listed companies by promoting efficiency, transparency, and alignment with international best practices, which serve as a key foundation for the sustainable development of Thailand’s capital market.

The event was attended by representatives from listed companies, including executives, internal auditors, and related professionals, and took place at the Sangvien Indravichai Auditorium, the Stock Exchange of Thailand, on 19 March 2026.
