The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) participated in the Thailand Digital Asset Leadership Forum: Road to SEABW 2026, a forum for exchanging perspectives on the direction of digital asset innovation and regulatory development aimed at advancing Thailand toward a future digital economy. The forum was organized by APE X Crypto Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Shardlab Co., Ltd., the organizer of Sout East Asia Blockchain Week, the Thai Digital Asset Association (TDA), Block Mountain, and partner organizations within the digital technology industry network.

Miss Wasu Wootisanti, Assistant Director of the Digital Asset Policy Department of the SEC, was invited as a panelist for the discussion titled “The Next Chapter of Thailand’s Digital Asset Regulation.” She shared perspectives on Thailand’s digital asset regulatory framework, as well as initiatives to promote technology adoption in the capital market, including tokenization, support for crypto as an asset class, and regulatory sandbox programs. The forum was held at SCBX NEXT TECH, Bangkok, on 5 May 2026.
