The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in collaboration with the Thai Listed Companies Association (Thai LCA), launched the “Financial Well being in Workplace” project. Mrs. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, SEC Secretary General, delivered the opening remarks and welcomed participants to the training course titled “Becoming a Workplace Financial Literacy Advocate.” The program was attended by executives and human resources (HR) personnel from 80 listed companies, totaling 155 participants, at the SEC Building on 6 and 8 May 2026.
The “Financial Well being in Workplace” project aims to encourage listed companies to prioritize employees’ financial well being and to support employees in developing their financial and investment knowledge and skills through the use of the capital market as a channel for long-term savings to help ensure sufficient funds for retirement. In supporting the project, the SEC provides knowledge resources and toolkits that HR personnel can leverage to implement financial literacy activities within their organizations.
