Mr. Anek Yooyuen, Deputy Secretary-General and Spokesperson of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), met with the media at the SEC’s monthly media briefing in June 2026 to provide updates on key initiatives aimed at strengthening trust and confidence in the capital market. These included progress in enhancing internal control systems of listed companies and strengthening Know Your Customer/Customer Due Diligence (KYC/CDD) practices.

Mr. Anek also shared updates on law enforcement actions and the operations of the Investment Scam Hotline. During the period from January to May 2026, the SEC received a total of 4,307 reports and inquiries related to investment scams, representing an increase of more than 25% compared with the same period in 2025. The event took place at the SEC Building on 10 June 2026.
