SEC welcomes judges and the Judicial Training Institute on a study visit

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), represented by Mr. Thawatchai Pittayasophon, Deputy Secretary-General, welcomed judges and representatives from the Judicial Training Institute on the occasion of their study visit and attendance at a lecture titled “Digital Assets: Oversight, Investigation and Prosecution.”

On this occasion, Mrs. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, Secretary-General, delivered a special lecture emphasizing the importance of building confidence in the capital market, as well as directions for the development of the capital market and the digital asset market. In addition, representatives from relevant agencies participated as speakers on related subtopics. The event was held at the SEC Building on 30 June 2026.

Mrs. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, Secretary-General, delivered a special lecture.

Mr. Thawatchai Pittayasophon, Deputy Secretary-General, delivered welcoming remarks to the study visit delegation.


Mr. Kris Tontipiromya, Director of Digital Asset Business Supervision Department, delivered a lecture on “Overview and Regulatory Approaches to Digital Assets.”


Pol.Capt. Kanis Muangkeaw, Director of Digital Asset Enforcement Department, and Mr. Pratya Apaiyanukorn, Assistant Director of Digital Asset Enforcement Department, SEC, co-delivered a lecture on “Mechanisms for inspection and enforcement in digital asset–related offenses.”


Pol.Lt.Col. Kirkkai Weerachaovapas, Deputy Superintendent of the Cyber Crime Investigation Division 1, delivered a lecture on “Mechanisms for inspection of offenses related to digital assets.”


Dr.  Worrawong Atcharawongchai, Judge of the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court, delivered a lecture on “Litigation and case studies on digital assets.”


Dr. Napaskamon Tanthanawong, Judge in the Research Division of Office of the President of the Supreme Court, delivered a lecture on “Litigation and case studies on digital assets.”
