The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), represented by Miss Nopnuanparn Pavasant, Assistant Secretary‑General, participated in a panel discussion with regulators and private-sector representatives on the topic “Digital Assets, Updates in Regulatory Regimes and the Next Growth Areas for 2026 Onwards.” The session was held online as part of WebX 2026, which took place in Tokyo, Japan, on 13–14 July 2026.

The panel provided an opportunity to exchange views on policy developments and regulatory approaches to promoting securities tokenization through Thailand’s digital securities ecosystem,  as well as strengthening regulatory oversight to prevent money laundering and suspicious transactions involving in digital asset business operators. The session was held on 14 July 2026.
