SEC and FETCO discuss approaches to advancing capital market development for the benefit of all stakeholders

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), led by Mrs. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, Secretary-General, together with SEC executives, held a meeting with the Federation of Thai Capital Market Organizations (FETCO), led by Mr. Paiboon Nalinthrangkurn, Chairman of FETCO, to exchange views on key issues relating to the development of Thailand’s capital market. Topics of discussion included the progress of the Thai Bond Market Development Taskforce (Bond Market Taskforce) and perspectives from the business sector to support the formulation of the SEC Strategic Plan 2027–2029. In addition, FETCO presented proposals for advancing the Trusted Connector Economy policy through Thai capital market mechanisms, as well as approaches to integrating cooperation among relevant agencies to promote sustainability, starting with the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in line with IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 standards. The meeting was held at the SEC Building on 30 July 2026.
