The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in collaboration with the Personnel Management Association of Thailand (PMAT), hosted an online seminar titled “PVD First Step: Leveraging Employee Benefits to Build a More Engaged, High-Performing Workforce.” The seminar was opened by Mr. Somkiart Anantapakorn, Director of the Provident Fund Policy and Registration Department of the SEC, who also shared insights and experiences alongside Mr. Pongpit Pinsai, Director of the Research and Data Department of the SEC and Chairman of the SEC Office’s Provident Fund Committee, and Miss Pajaree Vejjabul, Assistant Director of the Provident Fund Policy and Registration Department of the SEC.

The event aimed to encourage employers and organizations to view provident funds (PVDs) not merely as an employee benefit, but as a strategic tool for enhancing employees’ financial well-being, fostering stronger employee engagement, and supporting sustainable workforce management.
