SEC, TikTok, and 12 partners build public resilience against digital threats through “#ThaisAware Season 3”

20 August 2026

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), represented by Miss Archinee Pattamasukhon, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the SEC Complaint Center, participated in the launch of #ThaisAware Season 3 under the theme “Stay Alert. Stay Ahead of Digital Threats.” The initiative was organized by TikTok (Thailand) in collaboration with 13 public-sector and civil society organizations. The event was officially opened by Mr. Chaichanok Chidchob, Minister of Digital Economy and Society.

On this occasion, the SEC also joined a panel discussion titled “Scam or Safe: Spot the Warning Signs Before You Transfer” to share knowledge on online investment scams, ways to respond to investment scams in the digital environment, how to spot warning signs, and how to verify information before making investment decisions. The event was held on 20 August 2026.

Now in its third consecutive year, the #ThaisAware initiative reflects the commitment of all sectors to building public resilience in the digital age. Previous campaigns have received strong public interest and positive responses, helping to broaden awareness and strengthen the public’s ability to recognize online risks.

Under this year’s theme, “Stay Alert. Stay Ahead of Digital Threats,” the initiative emphasizes the importance of recognizing warning signs of digital threats and taking timely action to mitigate risks. As digital threats often begin with subtle indicators, the ability to identify and respond to such signs in a timely manner can help prevent online harm and limit potential damage.
