The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in collaboration with the Thai Financial Planners Association (TFPA) and CFA Society Thailand, organized a seminar titled “Understanding Members, Understanding Investments: Enhancing FC Perspectives for Effective PVD Governance” in both online and onsite formats. The event was opened by Mr. Songyod Bunjoungmanee, SEC Assistant Secretary-General (Investment Management). Distinguished speakers included Mr. Theeranat Rujimethapass, representative of the TFPA, and Mr. Narongrit Suptippayarattana, representative of CFA Society Thailand. The speakers shared knowledge and exchanged experiences regarding the roles and responsibilities of Fund Committees (FC).

The seminar aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of retirement financial planning and provide practical guidance on the duties and responsibilities of FC, enabling them to safeguard members’ interests more appropriately and effectively. The event attracted 470 participants and was held at the SEC Building on 26 August 2026.
