The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), represented by Miss Nopnuanparn Pavasant, Assistant Secretary-General, participated in the “Treasury Leadership Forum 2026” seminar, where she joined as a panelist on the topic of “Tokenization & Digital Assets in Thailand: Regulatory Boundaries and Emerging Frameworks.” The session aimed to exchange views and provide insights to investors in Thailand on developments and promotion of digital assets, as well as the regulatory framework governing related businesses in Thailand.

The seminar was organized by Standard Chartered Bank in collaboration with member banks of the Standard Chartered Group. Other panelists included Mr. Thammarak Moenjak, Senior Director of the Technology and Innovation Unit at the Bank of Thailand, and Mr. Justin Ho, Executive Director, Payment and Treasury Solutions Department, Standard Chartered Bank. The event was held on 9 September 2026.
