The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), represented by Mr. Sethawat Phutrakul, Assistant Director of the Capital Market Education Department, participated in the seminar titled “Because Sharing is Caring: Win Your Life: Winning at Life Takes Planning” and delivered a lecture on “Protecting Yourself from Scams: Spotting Warning Signs and Scammers’ Tactics.”

The lecture aimed to raise awareness of various forms of investment scams and highlight the SEC’s role in promoting financial and investment literacy and protecting investors from falling victim to scammers. Mr. Sethawat also introduced the SEC Investment Scam Hotline at 1207, press 22, which receives tip-offs and provides public consultation services.

The event was held at the National Boccia Training Center, Sports Authority of Thailand, Hua Mak, on 25 September 2026.
