The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), represented by Ms. Nopnuanparn Pavasant, Assistant Secretary-General, participated in GFTN Select Thailand, held as part of the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings, which took place from 12 to 18 October 2026. During the event, Ms. Nopnuanparn joined a roundtable discussion on “Combating Fraud and Scams in an Increasingly Connected Payments Ecosystem” to exchange views on enhancing efforts to prevent and combat financial fraud.

She also participated in discussions on “Tokenization – Time to Scale Safely and Without Leaving Anyone Behind,” focusing on advancing investment innovation by supporting the issuance of tokenized securities. The initiative aims to further develop Thailand’s capital market and economic system toward sustainable growth. The event was held at SO/ Bangkok Hotel on 15 October 2026.
