​The SEC Office's organization structure


​The SEC Office’s primary role is to implement the resolutions and policies set forth by the SEC Board and supervise compliance and enforcement of the securities laws. The SEC Office is headed by Secretary-General who is appointed by the Cabinet upon the Minister of Finance’s recommendation of the candidate proposed by the SEC Board. Secretary-General holds office for a four-year term and may be re-appointed but not for more than two consecutive terms.
