Mrs. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, Secretary‑General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), together with Deputy Secretaries‑General Mr. Thawatchai Pittayasophon, Ms. Jomkwan Kongsakul, Mr. Anek Yooyuen, and Ms. Sucha Boonyanate, held a press conference to announce the SEC Strategic Plan 2026–2028 under the theme “Building Trust, Powering Growth.” The strategic plan focuses on strengthening the competitiveness and confidence of Thailand’s capital market, enhancing its role as a key driver toward a digital economy, and reinforcing its contribution to sustainable growth. It also aims to promote financial wellbeing, cultivate a long‑term investment culture among the public, and leverage technology to enhance the SEC’s operational efficiency, building on progress achieved in 2025. The SEC emphasized its readiness to proactively and promptly embrace future opportunities and challenges through integrated collaboration with relevant agencies, moving forward together under the concept “Moving forward with Tie – Trend – Trust” to advance financial and capital market innovation as a key driver of Thailand’s economic growth. The press conference was held on 19 January 2026 at the SEC Office.
