Why Are There Multiple Taxonomies?
National and regional roles and importance: Each country or region faces different environmental challenges and policy objectives, and therefore requires a taxonomy framework tailored to national and regional contexts.
Alignment with domestic laws and regulations: National sustainability frameworks must be consistent with local laws and regulatory requirements in order to effectively support sustainable development.
